WealthTrim is a financial utility website designed to help users understand recurring expenses such as subscriptions and other monthly charges. The current version of the tracker works entirely on the frontend and stores entries in the browser on the device being used.
2. Information WealthTrim collects
At this stage, WealthTrim is designed to collect as little information as possible through the tracker itself.
- Expense data you enter into the tracker, such as expense names, categories, and monthly cost values.
- Basic technical information that may be collected automatically by your hosting provider, content delivery network, or web server, such as IP address, browser type, and request logs.
- Messages you choose to send through any future contact method or support email.
3. How tracker data is stored
The subscription tracker stores your entries locally in your browser using localStorage. In the current product version, this means your tracker data is intended to remain on your device and is not required to be sent to a WealthTrim database in order for the calculator to work.
If you clear your browser storage, switch browsers, or use a different device, your locally stored tracker entries may be removed or unavailable.
4. How information is used
WealthTrim may use information to:
- Operate and improve the website and tracker experience.
- Maintain site reliability, security, and performance.
- Respond to support messages, legal requests, or operational issues.
- Analyze high-level site usage if analytics tools are added in the future.
5. Cookies and similar technologies

Tracker entries stored in your browser remain there until they are deleted by you, removed by browser settings, or cleared through the app. Operational or server-side logs maintained by hosting or infrastructure providers may be retained for security, debugging, and business operations for limited periods under those providers' retention practices.

- Use the tracker without creating an account in the current version.
- Clear your saved tracker entries using the app's clear function.
- Clear browser storage or cookies through your browser settings.

WealthTrim may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, CDN providers, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, form providers, advertising services, or email tools. Those services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

WealthTrim is not intended for children under 13, and the site is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International access
If you access WealthTrim from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations used by service providers supporting the site.
